Warranty

Elite Radio & Engineering Co. (Pvt) Ltd stands behind every product we sell. As the authorised distributor for KDK and the official agent for Audio-Technica and Godrej in Sri Lanka, we honour manufacturer warranties and provide in-country after-sales support from our Colombo service centre.

KDK Warranty

  • Ceiling fans, wall fans, orbital fans, exhaust fans and ventilating fans: 2-year motor warranty from date of purchase
  • Air curtains: 1-year motor warranty from date of purchase

KDK warranty is administered by Elite Radio & Engineering Co. (Pvt) Ltd as the authorised distributor in Sri Lanka. All warranty service is carried out at our Colombo service centre.

Audio-Technica Warranty

Audio-Technica products carry the manufacturer's warranty as defined by Audio-Technica Corporation. Elite Radio is the official agent in Sri Lanka and handles all warranty claims in-country. Please refer to the documentation included with your product for the specific warranty period applicable to your model.

Godrej Security Solutions Warranty

Godrej products carry the manufacturer's warranty as defined by Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. Elite Radio is the official agent in Sri Lanka and handles warranty claims locally. Please refer to the documentation included with your product for the applicable warranty period.

What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
  • Motor failures under normal operating conditions (KDK fans)
  • Functional failures not caused by user error or external factors
  • Defective components present at the time of manufacture

What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage caused by mishandling, dropping, or accidents
  • Damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper installation
  • Damage from unauthorised repair, modification, or tampering
  • Normal wear and tear (including blades, filters, cosmetic parts)
  • Consumables (batteries, stylus or needle wear on turntables)
  • Damage caused by use contrary to the product manual
  • Products with removed or tampered serial numbers

Proof of Purchase

All warranty claims require a valid proof of purchase, either your Elite Radio order confirmation email, a printed invoice, or the original receipt, clearly showing the product model, serial number, and purchase date.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us via our Feedback page or call (+94) 11 250 0823 to report the fault and get a reference number.
  2. Bring or send the product to our service centre at 35/3, Nawala Road, Narahenpita, Colombo 05, along with your proof of purchase.
  3. Our team will assess the product. Warranty repairs or replacements are carried out at no charge for covered defects within the warranty period.

Registering your product helps us process any future warranty claim faster. To register, contact our service centre on (+94) 11 236 8472 / 8473 / 8474 or email info@eliteradio.com with your product model, serial number, and date of purchase. Online warranty registration is coming soon.
